Has the globe learned from past mistakes?

Not so much! We've had a "Civil War",two world wars, several major conflicts, Woodrow Wilson,F.D.R.,Jimmy Carter,and now B.H.Obama and another upcoming depression on our horizon as examples of man's disregard of recorded history,and its many lessons. It appears that IF man has gained any insight from these events,he has certainly managed to misplace it! Man's final "epitaph" will probably read something as this "Even though we did not object to learning new ideas ,we rejected the idea of being taught actual facts." The "Almighty" IS truly patient with His children!
