My boyfriend & I are perfect for each other, but he changed his mind about having kids. ?

At Cat1864: Did your husband have his vascetomy reversed? If so what did it take to change his mind? the man that I am in love with and I recently broke up because he changed his mind about wanting kids. he too had a vasectomy long before I met him cause his ex wife cheated on him & they had a child together. we had talked about marriage & him getting a reversal cause he wanted more kids. his ex wife took his now 8 year old daughter to california after fighting her for over a year to keep her here. So now he is angry and bitter, as it deeply hurts him to have to say goodbye to his daughter every time she comes. he says that he loves me and wants to spend the rest of his life with me but he is afraid of that happening to him again if we had a child together. He said it would be different if his daughter lived here. I love him more than words can express & so badly want to spend my life with him. I fear he won't change his mind, but deep down inside I feel that he would. I am so torn and heartbroken I don't know what to do. suggestions? We are both 34 &I have never been married. What is YOUR story? I am desperate for advice and I would love to hear it from someone in my similar situation, which is definitely a very rare find...Would love to hear back from you or ANYONE who has experienced this unique situation...please help
