Where can a 26-year-old get a vasectomy?

I'm 26, going on 30 and I want a vasectomy. I'm not a father, but I am so sick of being paranoid with sex. Completely be judgmental but oh well: I want to enjoy sex. I don't think it's taboo anymore to proclaim I want to enjoy my sexuality. (Let me assure you that I do not sleep around by any means.) But the typical response I hear from others is that practically all doctors will refuse to perform a vasectomy unless you already have children. Is that a myth? Are there such progressive docs out there who will perform the operation? I mean, if you think about it, it is a double standard with all the available contraception for females. After all, they are reversible aren't they?
