I would like to move to Italy or Germany when im older, opinions?

Im 17 and American, but i LOVE learning about cultures and im in love with Europe in general. the people, food, everything! So i was thinking maybe studying in italy or germany when i get older, and i want opinions on whether it'd be a crazy move to move across the globe or what! im really not that nuts haha but i love trying new things and trying different atmospheres. tell me what u guys think :)
